Little Corey Jeffery battled with a variety of problems and at less than a year old was diagnosed with Hurler Syndrome a rare genetic storage disorder. At age 2 Corey was further diagnosed with Behcet’s Disease – an autoimmune disorder. Treatment was carried out at Bristol Royal Hospital for Children and the family were given a ‘Home from Home’ where Corey celebrated his second birthday and took his first steps.

Corey’s mum Teresa said, “Having the use of Charly’s House enabled us to bring Corey ‘home’ during the day when he was feeling well and enjoy time together as a family. Friends and family have been able to visit and it has allowed us to develop a routine that we can continue with once we are actually home.”
