Another great event for the Rhys Daniels Trust calendar took place at Woolston Manor Golf & Country Club on 9th September 2011.

Extra Information: Celebrity faces turned out to support this event and help to raise funds for the "Home from Home" Appeal. A long term supporter of the charity, Gareth Gates was there to get everybody into shape for the Shotgun start. Other celebrity golfers taking part were – Ex footballers - Tony Cottee, John Moncur, Kirk Stephens, Jimmy Holmes & Steve Sedgley. The day was a great success with the Carter Clark team taking the winning prize and Gareth Gates took the winning Celebrity prize. The evenings event was hosted by Mike Osman with entertainment from Tee Green, Sadie Stuart and a live acoustic set from Gareth Gates. Together with the auction the event raised a wonderful £10,000 towards the Rhys Daniels Trust "Home from Home" Appeal. Billy Murray also showed up in the evening to lend his support. The charity is a great tribute to Rhys Daniels & his sister Charly in memory of their short lives and the aim is to provide "Home from Home" care at specialist children’s hospitals across the UK.

Money raised for the Trust from this event last year: £18,180
Extra Information: 18 teams, which included celebrity players Steve Sedgley, Paul Jewell, John Moncur, Karl Collins, Chris Simmons, Russ Gilbrook and Kirk Stephens, battled through torrential rain which may have affected their golf but certainly did not dampen their spirits. The eventual winners were the Alan Darlow Productions team. After the golf Mike Osman hosted an evening of fine food and superb entertainment provided by Sam Kane, Natalie Grace Chua, the Motown Sisters and Tee Green.
